Recipe: Tea Ice Cream Floats Three Ways + A Giveaway!

Ice cream floats just scream “Summer!” It’s no wonder July has been declared National Ice Cream Month. That’s why we’re wrapping up July with a trio of Ice Cream Floats made with some of our favorite tea blends and selections of Snoqualmie Ice Cream’s brand new organic ice creams! Whether you like your portions big or you’re looking for a small sweet treat, these floats are easy to customize to fit any sized craving.

1. Earl Grey + Snoqualmie Organic Lavender Float

Inspired by our Earl Grey Lavender tea, we couldn’t help but combine these two. Both components are fragrant and create a smooth, elegant indulgence.

Instructions for a 16 oz glass:

  1. Steep 2 tea bags of Earl Grey in 4 oz of water for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and add another 8 oz of cool water.
  3. Refrigerate and chill.
  4. Once chilled, put a scoop of Snoqualmie Organic Lavender ice cream in the bottom of your glass.
  5. Fill the glass about 3/4ths of the way with the cold Earl Grey tea.
  6. Add another scoop of ice cream to top it off.
  7. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
2. Blackberry Hibiscus + Snoqualmie Organic Mixed Berry Float

Berries on berries! Snoqualmie Organic Mixed Berry ice cream joins its sweet, creamy goodness with our tangy Blackberry Hibiscus tea. With Northwest berries in the ice cream and our tea , it’s a Pacific Northwest fusion in one tasty treat.

Instructions for a 16 oz glass:

  1. Steep 2 tea bags of Blackberry Hibiscus in 4 oz of water for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and add another 8 oz of cool water.
  3. Refrigerate and chill.
  4. Once chilled, put a scoop of Snoqualmie Organic Mixed Berry ice cream in the bottom of your glass.
  5. Fill the glass about 3/4 of the way with the cold Blackberry Hibiscus tea.
  6. Add another scoop of ice cream to top it off. If you have a few fresh blackberries, throw them on as a topper.
  7. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
3. Shiitake Maté + Snoqualmie Organic Vanilla Float

We know people might be skeptical with this one, but if you’re bold enough to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! Our Shiitake Maté is spiced with cinnamon, carob, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper, add in luscious vanilla ice cream and it’s like an ice cold chai latte with a twist.

Instructions for a 16 oz glass:

  1. Steep 2 tea bags of Shiitake Maté in 4 oz of water for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and add another 8 oz of cool water.
  3. Refrigerate and chill.
  4. Once chilled, put a scoop of Snoqualmie Organic Vanilla ice cream in the bottom of your glass.
  5. Fill the glass about 3/4ths of the way with the cold Shiitake Maté tea.
  6. Add another scoop of ice cream to top it off.
  7. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
